This trauma informed all-levels practice is centered around supporting an experience that fosters self-awareness and a more compassionate relationship with yourself. By cultivating a mind-body connection you can boost your ability to tolerate and relieve stress, tension and anxiety. Feel more grounded, self-regulated and hopeful. Gain strength, mobility, coordination and balance. Improve the quality of your sleep leading to more energy and vitality. Develop your mental ability to focus on what you want in your life and gain self-confidence in the process. Engage with body based tools for finding a calm presence between sessions. Learn what it’s like to feel more at home in your body by harnessing the resilience you already possess.
Please bring a mat and water bottle (all other props provided as required)

MOVEMENT FOR RESILIENCE
MONDAY’S 9:30am - 10:30am (starts oct 29)
Learn how to show up for yourself feeling more resourced, resilient and capable of taking on all the challenges that life throws your way.
Through mindful movement and the support of community we’ll explore ways to:
Be more aware of what your body needs
Find balance by practicing balancing and coordination activities
Cultivate more self-compassion for yourself and those around you
Expand your movement capabilities by building strength and mobility
Self soothe AKA self regulate using your body as a resource
Let go of stress in little bits throughout your day
Space is limited to 10. No equipment required.
$20 drop in or sign up for 3 and get the fourth class for free.
Classes will be held at the Healing Collective. Studio opens 10 minutes before class starts.
It is recommended that you pre-register for a class in order to guarantee your spot.

The movement studio is located on the main floor of The Healing Collective and barrier free entry can be provided through the rear entrance. The washroom is located on the main floor, but is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact me with specific mobility queries and I will do our best to accommodate your needs.
